Website Analysis - Foo Fighters

Website One - Foo Fighters

The Foo Fighters' website shows a theme that relates to their most recent song ' The Sky is a Neighbourhood' and this works well with the genre too as it isn't brightly coloured and the colours used are muted and fit well with the 'Rock' genre.  Despite this, if you didn't know Foo Fighters were a rock band, this website to me doesn't portray this as looking at the stars and the dark sky doesn't make me immediately think of the Rock genre.

The website itself is very minimal but easily accessible for their audience to use.  The centre of the website has the band's logo which also features on their 'Concrete and Gold' album. This enables the audience to notice that there is a  theme that they are portraying between the album and their website.

A page within their website is their Gallery, which is actually called the 'Observatory' on their homepage, tying in well with their theme of space and astronomy.  The organisation of the page is again very minimal and so makes the flow of their website nice for the audience to use. There are also BTS (Behind The Scenes) photographs for their fans to explore which will enable them to feel closer to their favourite band members. â€‹
